Sales Executive Role
2tech is a 10 year old wholesale/distribution company which imports and sells design-led gifts, homewares and gadgets to large retailers and online resellers. We specialise in developing new markets and introducing new product categories. We supply several big name high street retailers and 2tech is expanding our small team to include a sales account executive to develop new sales and help manage these accounts.
Joining a small company means involvement at all levels, helping to shape the direction of the business and share in its success. This role in a busy office will suit a self-starter who enjoys learning new skills and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the bulk of the role will involve developing new accounts of all sizes and building a relationship with the buyers of these retailers.
There will be an element of creating new sales accounts through sales by telephone, email and face to face meetings to manage the smaller accounts and regenerate old leads. We have a large active database of clients who love our products and all sales efforts are assisted by in-house database and web marketing like newsletters, and media & PR coverage.
This role has room to grow in a direction in which you excel, and is fast moving, exciting and very rewarding. Experience & Requirements:
Sales experience face to face and telephone
Knowledge of UK retail industry
Good communication & negotiation skills
Basic commercial awareness
Computer literacy: Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet
Genuine interest in innovations and trends, and have an opinion about what’s cool
Excellent telephone manner, vocabulary and literacy skills
Good organisation skills and punctuality
Ability to act on initiative & solve problems quickly, calmly and effectively
Smart appearance when appropriate
Keen to learn new skills/join training courses
Team player – consideration of small group dynamics
Sociable with a good sense of humour
Pay:£ basic + commission, 20 days paid annual holiday.
Lead Time:Position is immediately available. 3 months trial period to ensure the fit is perfect for both parties.
